WHAT is LI-FT Tattoo Removal?

Li-FT saline lightening solution is a non-chemical, non-acid, high salt based, fruit seed extract saline tattoo lightening product that is so effective it can lighten a tattoo or permanent makeup procedure to the point it is no longer visible. The special salts are grounded in fine powder eliminating any grit and allowing quick and easy implantation and absorption. Li-FT is certified as a vegan products and works under the most sterile conditions following all FDA guidelines.

WHERE is this treatment performed?

Eyebrows, Eyeliner, Lip liner, Areola. it includes body tattoos no bigger that a business card or less. Except for full lip color.

WHEN/ how often do I get treatments?

Generally, 2-5 treatments are recommended.  the saline tattoo removal is very individual and unpredictable and it depends on:  area of the body, how old it is, how deep and how saturated the pigment were implanted, each individual heals differently, skin sensitivity, and following after care instructions.

So be prepared for multiple sessions if you want to remove the tattoo completely. if however, your're planning on getting a fresh PMU, it may be enough to just ligthen the old tattoo enough for it to be camouflaged.  In that case, 1-2 session may be enough.

Book a consultation appointment to assess the situation.

HOW do I prepare for my treatment?

All of things mention in the following will slow down the healing process. Avoid blood thinners 2 days before your treatment.  Avoid for 1 week prior to your treatment: alcohol, aspirin, Ibuprofen, fish oil, mult-vitmins. Smoking should stop or cut back significantly. If you are unsure of what treatments to take or use, please contact us at mralpz1984@gmail.com

HOW should I expect to feel after?

Immediately after, the area  will look very red and "raw". Excessive redness usually subsides in 2-3 days. Some skin flaking and scabbing is expected roughly 10 days post-treatment. The treated area can stay pink or slightly discolored for several weeks. Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is possible and should heal with proper post care.

To schedule your treatment, fill out a consultation form under the consultation tab. We will contact you to answer any additional questions and schedule your appointment within 3 business days of your submitted form unless it is an emergency removal will respond in with 24 hours of your submitted form.

Can any pigment be removed with saline tattoo removal?

With saline removal, permanent makeup in all colors can be removed, unlike the laser, which isn't suitable for removing white pigments.

When can I get saline removal?

You can get emergency removal within 48 hours after the PMU treatment if you immediately regret getting PMU.

If you wait for longer, you will have to wait for eight weeks until the skin has completely healed from PMU treatment. Otherwise, doing it sooner will damage the tissue, and permanent scarring can occur.

How does saline removal work?

Saline/Salt removal works on the theory of "Osmosis." Osmosis is a process by which molecules of a solvent (water) tend to pass through a semi-permeable membrane (skin) from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one. To achieve the same amount of concentration on each side of the membrane is equalization.

Introducing a high concentration of saltwater to the dermis where the pigment resides creates the process of Osmosis. Water in the cell beneath the color pigment contains lower amounts of salt, and water will rise to the area containing higher concentrations of salt.

Equalization forces the pigment from the dermal layer up to the epidermis by osmotic pressure. The natural process is to become equal to the higher concentration of salt and water. The pigment becomes trapped in the scab, and when the scabs fall off, some of the color pigment goes with it.

HOW long do I have to wait between sessions?

After each saline tattoo removal session, the skin needs time to heal and recover before repeating their 6-8 weeks of treatment.

If you don't let the skin heal completely, there's a risk of damaging the skin and permanent scarring. During saline removal, permanent makeup still stays visible,  albeit less with every session, and the process can last for months.

Saline tattoo removal healing process

Since the technique is the same as pigment implementation, the saline removal healing process will be similar to the period after getting PMU.

The area treated will be tender, and even a bit swelled right after the treatment. As the micro-wounds start to heal, you'll go through a scabbing stage, and once the scabs fall off the surface, healing is over. It's crucial that you don't pick the scab and let them fall off on their own. Otherwise, you risk damaging the skin and developing an infection. Internal healing will continue for about four weeks, and the tissue needs to recover completely.

Saline removal aftercare

It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent complications, scarring and to achieve optimum results. The aftercare below is only generalized and in-person; you will get detailed instructions.

  1. KEEP THE AREA CLEAN. CLEANSE THE AREA 4X A DAY WITH SALINE.

  2. DO NOT SOAK THE TREATED AREA IN WATER. BEST TO KEEP IT DRY.

  3. NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, SUN EXPOSURE, HEAVY SWEATING, OR EXERCISE.

  4. DO NOT DISRUPT THE SCABBING PROCESS.

  5. TREAT THE AREA WITH CARE

  6. ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY  FALLEN OFF, APPLY VITAMIN E OIL.

  7. STAY HYDRATED, AVOID HIGH-PRESSURE WATER, REFRAIN FROM ALCOHOL & SMOKING

Saline tattoo removal for each PMU treatment

Saline eyebrow tattoo removal works for any eyebrow work, such as ombre, combination, microblade strokes, and outdated tattoos done with ink. It's pretty safe, and the risk of scarring is minimal.

Saline Eyeliner Saline Removal

Trickier than saline eyebrow tattoo removal. As the skin in that area is very thin and delicate, it requires a unique technique and expertise. The common issue is color pigment migrating outside the desired outline, causing the tattoo to look smudged and messy. Having minor imperfections can be solved within 1 or 2 sessions. If you want to remove the entire tattoo, it will probably take 4+ sessions.

Lip tattoo Saline Removal

If you're dealing with an unwanted PMU Lip liner on the skin above the lips rather than on the lips themselves, it can be solved easily with saline tattoo removal. The skin around the lips is relatively thick, and the risk of scarring is minimal.

Full lip color or lip blush removal is not advisable.

Does Saline Tattoo Removal Hurt?

Since numbing cream is applied to the area before the procedure starts, you shouldn't feel pain during the procedure. That said, there might be some discomfort. The process is very similar to the initial pigmentation, so you should expect the same experience. You may feel pressure or a scratching sensation.

How much does saline tattoo removal cost?

Saline tattoo removal per session cost varies from place to place. The average cost of a session is around 250, but the price range from $150 to $500. The price primarily depends on the experience. Emergency saline tattoo removal varies in price because of short-notice bookings.

Why Saline over Laser?

  • Lasered tattoo is often unsuccessful in removing with saline tattoo removal due to scarred tissue and an alteration to the skin.

  • The laser can permanently remove brow hair

  • Saline is not color restricted

  • Laser turn titanium (white pigments) black or gray. Saline will remove titanium; expect a more prolonged process.

  • The laser pushes pigment back down into the body, Saline lifts it up and out of it.

  • The pain level of a laser is painful, whereas Saline is discomfort.

Emergency Li-FT

We can lighten and remove your botched brows immediately after you get them done? No more waiting until they are healed...get them removed now. Teryn Darling developed this amazing technique of removing bad brows and procedures within 48 hours of getting them done.

Please note: The Emergency Removal technique is performed without any needles. NO needles, any tattoo techniques, or breaking into the skin in any way is used. This is a safe and gentle manner of lifting freshly implanted pigment from the area.

Once the skin is wounded, we have a short period of time before the epidermal crust is fully formed. Until that epidural crust is fully formed, the area may accept and absorb the salt solution. It is best if the procedure is no more than 48 hours old.
